Allomancy

Customer Page

Host your customer page on your own domain, or share one page with stores you trust through a collective.

Your customer page is the website where your customers open redelivery links and manage their gift cards. By default, customers use the customer.allomancy.com page. The Customer Page settings let you host your own branded page on your domain instead, and let trusted stores band together into a collective that shares a single page.

Open the Settings page at stores.allomancy.com/settings and click the Customer Page tile. The page has two tabs, Your customer page and Collective, with an Invitations section below them.

Hosting your own customer page

To point your customers at your own branded page, enter a Customer page origin on the Your customer page tab (an https:// origin with no path, query, or credentials) and click Save

From then on, your customers' redelivery links open on that domain. The open-source allomancy-customer-page example app is a fork-and-restyle reference you can deploy to your own domain.

To go back to the default customer.allomancy.com page, click Clear

Collectives: one page for several stores

A collective is one shared customer page, owned by a single merchant. When your store joins, your customers can see their transactions, gift cards, and products from across the collective on one page.

The collective's owner runs the shared page and can reach the customer pages of every member store, including their gift cards. Only join a collective whose owner you trust. Leaving a collective stops the sharing immediately.

While your store is in a collective, the Your customer page tab is locked: leave the collective to manage your own customer-page domain.

Creating a collective

On the Collective tab, enter a Collective name and optionally a Logo texture UUID; together they are the brand your customers see on the shared page. The Collective page origin is the custom domain that hosts the shared page, and until one is set, member stores' redelivery links stay on each store's own page. You can set the origin now or later from the same form. To create the collective, click Create collective

Inviting a store

To invite another merchant's store, click Invite a store next to Member stores, enter the Store owner's username, and click Send invitation

Allomancy looks up that username and shows you the avatar's profile picture, so you can confirm it matches the merchant you meant before the invitation goes out. The invited owner must accept before their store becomes a member; until then, the store shows as Invited in the member list.

Joining a collective you were invited to

Collectives that have invited your store appear under Invitations. To review what joining shares before you commit, click Review and join to open the dialog. There, Join collective stays locked until you tick the checkbox confirming you trust the collective's owner. Declining removes the invitation, though the owner can invite your store again later; to turn it down, click Decline

Choosing which page your customers see

Once your store is in a collective, the Use collective page switch on the Shared collective page card chooses whether your customers' redelivery links open the shared collective page or your own store's page. The switch affects only your store; every member store chooses for itself.

Removing a store, leaving, and disbanding

As the collective's owner, click Remove next to a member store to remove just that store; the collective stays active for everyone else. The removed store loses access to the shared page and can no longer redeem or transfer the shared customers' gift cards.

As a member, click Leave collective to exit. The collective continues without your store: your customers stop being shared, and you lose access to the shared page.

As the owner, click Disband collective to end the whole collective.

Disbanding ends the collective for every store: the shared page stops working, every member store is removed, and any active customer links pointing at the collective stop resolving. This cannot be undone.

Permissions

Customer Page is visible only to the store owner. Managers do not see it from a managed store. See Store Managers for the full list of owner-only areas.
