The Tools area collects small creator-focused utilities like avatar lookup and shape merging.
Where to find Tools
Click Tools in the sidebar to open the Tools Dashboard. The Tools Dashboard shows cards for the available tools.
Shape Merger
The Shape Merger card opens the external Shape Merger utility.
Shape Merger combines two Second Life shapes by keeping the body from one shape and the head from the other. It helps when you change your head but want to keep your body's shape, or change your body but want to keep your head's shape, without copying shape values one by one.
User Inspect
The User Inspect card opens a lookup page for checking a Second Life avatar. Enter a Username and search to see the avatar's profile picture, Username, UUID, Born, Status, and Payment Status.
The UUID row includes a copy-to-clipboard control. Born shows the avatar's birth date with a computed age. Status shows Online or Offline, and the profile picture border uses that same online state as a visual cue. Payment Status can show No payment info, On file, Used, or Unknown.
Permissions
Tools is visible only to the store owner. Managers do not see it from a managed store. See Store Managers for the full list of owner-only areas.
