Deadlines
Track product deadlines for your bloggers, review extension requests, and see what your bloggers see on the blogger-facing site.
Allomancy shows product deadlines for bloggers in both the merchant Blog Dashboard and the blogger-facing site. This page covers where deadlines show up on the merchant Blog Dashboard, what bloggers see on their side, and how extension requests are reviewed.
Where deadlines come from
Deadline-related settings live in the Posts / Deadlines card on the Blog Settings page. The visible deadline-related fields are:
- Default Deadline (Days): how many days after requesting a product the blogger has to post it.
- Required Posts Mode: a dropdown with None or Monthly.
- Number of posts required: shown when Required Posts Mode is not None.
Use the Blog Settings page to change these values; the Blogger Management overview introduces the rest of the store-wide settings.
Reviewing pending deadlines
In the Blog Dashboard, click the View Deadlines tile to open the Deadlines page at stores.allomancy.com/blog/deadlines.
The table shows product deadlines for your bloggers and has these columns:
- Blogger: the blogger's username.
- Product: the product name.
- Retrieved: when the blogger retrieved the product.
- Deadline: the deadline by which the blogger is expected to post.
The Deadlines page is read-only. There are no per-row actions on this page. To reset deadlines for a single blogger, see Reset Deadlines in Managing Bloggers. To review a blogger's deadline-extension request, use the Extension requests tile described below.
What the blogger sees
The blogger landing page on bloggers.allomancy.com includes two cards relevant to deadlines.
Next Deadlines
The Next Deadlines card lists upcoming product deadlines, with these columns:
- Expiration: the deadline date with hover-tooltip detail. Expiration dates within 5 days appear in red.
- Store: the store the product belongs to.
- Product: the product name.
- Action: a navigation icon that takes the blogger to that store's post-creation page.
When the blogger has no upcoming deadlines, the card says there are no upcoming deadlines.
Monthly Requirements
The Monthly Requirements card lists stores with monthly posting requirements. Its columns are:
- Store: the store name.
- Required posts: shows the number of products the blogger still needs to post for the store, with a hover tooltip explaining the monthly count and how many they have already posted.
- Action: the same navigation icon, taking the blogger to that store's post-creation page.
When the blogger has met their monthly requirements, the card says there are no monthly requirements left.
Requesting an extension
A blogger can request a deadline extension for selected products from the post-creation page on bloggers.allomancy.com. With at least one product selected, the Request extension button opens the request dialog.
In the dialog, the blogger reviews the selected products, adds a Reason, optionally enters Extra days to ask for time beyond the default deadline, and clicks Request to submit. Accepting the request resets the product deadline, with optional extra days added. Only one extension request can be pending at a time per blogger.
Reviewing extension requests
In the Blog Dashboard, click the Extension requests tile to open the Extension Requests page at stores.allomancy.com/blog/extension-requests.
A toggle at the top, Show Reviewed, reveals previously reviewed requests when turned on. While Show Reviewed is on, the eye action button is disabled, so you can inspect reviewed rows in the list but not open them in the review dialog from this page.
The table has these columns:
- Blogger: the blogger's username.
- Extra Days: the number of extra days requested.
- Reason: the blogger's reason text, truncated.
- Products: thumbnail images for each product in the request, with hover tooltips showing the product names.
- Status: plain text, one of "Accepted", "Rejected", or "Pending".
- Action: opens the request for review.
Reviewing an extension request
Click to open the extension review dialog. The dialog shows the requested change and the blogger's reason.
Click Deny to reject the request, or Accept to grant the extension.
This flow uses Deny, not Reject. The wording differs from the application and post review flows but the meaning is the same: the request is not granted.
Resetting deadlines per blogger
To reset all pending post deadlines for a single blogger without going through an extension request, open that blogger's detail page and use the Reset Deadlines action. See Managing Bloggers for the per-blogger actions.
Vacation requests are documented separately; see Vacations.
Permissions
The Deadlines and Extension requests pages live under the Blog Dashboard, which is gated by the Manage Bloggers permission. To grant or restrict that permission, see Store Managers. For the broader blogger program context, see Blogger Management.
