Messages
Send messages from the Blog Dashboard and see how those messages appear on the blogger-facing site.
The Messages tile lets you compose a message in the Message for your bloggers dialog, review past messages you have sent, and delete messages from the Messages page. Bloggers see those messages on the blogger-facing site.
Sending a message
In the Blog Dashboard, click the Messages tile to open the Messages page at stores.allomancy.com/blog/messages.
Click New Message at the top of the page, type the body in Message for your bloggers, and click Send to send it.
Reviewing your messages
The Messages page lists messages you have sent, with these columns:
- Message: the message body.
- Sender: the username of the sender.
- Date: when the message was sent.
- Action: opens the delete confirmation described below.
Deleting a message
To delete a message, click on its row.
What the blogger sees
On the blogger-facing site, each store's Messages page shows the messages you sent, including the date, sender (either the store owner or a manager).
Permissions
The Messages page lives under the Blog Dashboard, which is gated by the Manage Bloggers permission. To grant or restrict that permission, see Store Managers. For the broader blogger program context, see Blogger Management.
